-Place the mat on a surface with no standing water.
-For warmer mat temperatures, place it on an insulated surface rather than on cold ground. Covering your planter with a blanket will keep the root zone warmer and moister for better rooting.
-Connect the mat to a 230 V power source.
-Increase the temperature of the rooting zone by about 5 to 11°C above the ambient air temperature.
